Question: What is going through your head when you are on stage before they announce your fate?
Priscilla : That moment when fear strikes, realization sets in, you have to pull it together quickly because you don’t have really any time to think, you’re just thrown out there and you just have to do your thing.
Question: So you were in Memphis with Priscilla the last time she was in town? And was this your first time to Graceland?
Louis: It was my first time to Graceland, and I hope it’s not my last. I had the best tour guide (Priscilla); she showed me everything. We went back to the horses and saw the horse Priscilla adopted. It’s really amazing, I mean I’ve seen movies and everything, but just to be there, you can feel so many good things have happened there (Graceland) And its really amazing to just be a part of it.
Question: How often are the cameras from the show following you all, taping you, Priscilla?
Priscilla: The only time the cameras are here is while we are rehearsing everyday, the whole time while we are in the rehearsal hall and in the studio itself that day. Also when we are performing we are being filmed the entire time. So they are not in my face as soon as I leave or in my home. It is dedicated to dancing and to the journey you go through to try to what you perform on that dance floor. So believe me, I wouldn’t have done this if it was in my face constantly.
Question: What do you think about the Tango?
Priscilla: You know the tango is a very serious, very precise, dramatic dance. It’s a passionate dance very emotional, I love it, I love watching the tango, I think its so beautifully done. So I’m looking forward to it. I mean, I don’t know what Louis really has in store for me, we just started mapping out the dance itself and it looks beautiful so far, and were just now performing the steps and trying to get that down.
