In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the listing of the Mediterranean-style ‘former celeb compound,’ as it’s billed, at 5427 Encino Avenue in Encino’s Amestoy Estates area. Records show that the twins’ father, David Olsen, owned the house from April 1997, when the girls were 10, until selling it in 2005. David Olsen and his second wife, McKenzie Olsen, paid $1,200,000 to purchase the house in 1997, according to public records. He sold it in 2005 for $1,699,000, according to public records.
Built in 1990, the Olsens’ former house in Encino has seven baths, tall wrought iron doors, a grand hall with a spiral staircase, arched windows, four fireplaces, high ceilings, a grand living room, a music room, a breakfast room, and a kitchen with twin Sub-Zero refrigerators and an island, according to public records and listing information. Other features include a master suite with a sitting area, a fireplace and a Grecian balcony, according to listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.56-acre (24,407-square-foot) property include a resort-like pool, a cascading spa, and a grassy back yard, according to public records and listing information.
The house came on the market on Jul. 31. We’re told that a buyer currently has an offer in on the house, although we have no idea if it will be accepted.
