More Footage Of The Epic Siobhan Magnus/Hanson "Siobhanson" Jam Session Surfaces

Siobhan Magnus had the good fortune of working with a lot of A-list talent during her stint on Season 9 of "American Idol"--Usher, Alicia Keys, Shania Twain, Adam Lambert, even the Bee Gees and Alice Cooper--but none of these collaborators could possibly compare to performing alongside her own personal idols, Hanson. After "practicing for 13 years" belting out the songs of her favorite band (whose lyrics are actually tattooed on her arm) and almost quite literally singing Hanson's praises in many of her "Idol" interviews, the young songstress got a once-in-a-lifetime chance to actually share the stage with the blonde brothers last week as their surprise guest at an intimate L.A. club gig. Afterwards, she actually declared the experience was "better than winning 'Idol.'"

Upon learning of Siobhan's diehard fandom, Hanson first expressed interest in having her to join them onstage during an interview with the L.A. Times' "Idol Tracker" column. But it wasn't until June 9 that she was able to accept their invitation, when she was in Los Angeles rehearsing for the Idols Live Tour and Hanson were in town to play the Hollywood hot spot Bardot. So it was there and then that the entity henceforth known as "Siobhanson" was born, as Siobhan historically jammed with the trio on four numbers: the early hit ballad "Weird," the Sam & Dave cover "Hold On, I'm Coming," "Been There Before," and the perennial favorite "MMMBop."

And I had to agree with Siobhan--this really was better than winning "Idol." Siobhan performed like a true champ, and as evidenced by the footage below shot by Hanson's own crew, it was a win-win situation for the band and all Bardot spectators as well.
