STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- Before the Hanson brothers took to the state Friday night for a concert in Stroudsburg, they took to the streets, after taking off their shoes. The brothers walk a mile barefoot before every concert to raise money and awareness for impoverished areas in Africa. They invite the public and concert-goers to attend, and for every person who walks, the brothers donate a dollar to one of five charities that help fight AIDS in Africa."We feel like the way to get people involved in a cause that seems far away is to talk about the commonality of it and realize that we feel like the solution is gonna come from lots of people with great ideas with passion and people showing up," Taylor Hanson said.Participants were able to designate which charities would get their donations.
