Conferencia “Enfrentando el Mañana 2011”

Nuestra Fundadora viajó a Israel para participar en la Conferencia Presidencial Israelí “Enfrentando el Mañana 2011”. La Conferencia Presidencial Israelí tuvo lugar en el Palacio de Congresos Internacional de Jerusalén. Más de 3,500 participantes de todas partes del mundo harán parte de este evento, incluyendo líderes y expertos de las ciencias, la cultura, la economía, la política, la educación y la filantropía.

Shakira intervino en la sesión plenaria de apertura de la Conferencia donde habló acerca de la importancia de la educación infantil y acerca de cómo su labor filantrópica es emprendida alrededor del mundo.   La sesión plenaria titulada “Mi Receta Para Un Mejor Mañana”, cuenta con la presentación de la comediante Sarah Silverman, el fundador  de Wikipedia Jimmy Wales, el genio del mercadeo Sir Martin Sorrell y el profesor de psicología y autor Dan Ariely.

El Asesor Israel Maimon, presidente del Comité Directivo de la Conferencia Presidencial Israelí, dijo que este año la Conferencia recibirá entre sus participantes a artistas reconocidos internacionalmente que además llevan a cabo labores sociales: “La Conferencia Presidencial Israelí es la conferencia más diversa que existe en cuanto a su contenido. Este año incluimos a artistas prominentes que usan su arte y su fama para cambiar el mundo e impactar el mañana”

Shakira went to Israel to participate in the Israeli Presidential Conference “Facing Tomorrow 2011”at the Jerusalem International Convention Center. More than 3500 participants from across the world will participate, including leaders and experts from the scientific, cultural, economic, political, educational and philanthropic fields.

Shakira spoke at the Conference’s opening plenary session about the importance of education for all children as a path to peace and her philanthropic work being undertaken around the world. Other participants in the plenary session entitled “My Recipe for a Better Tomorrow” include comedian Sarah Silverman, Wikipedia Founder Jimmy Wales, marketing genius Sir Martin Sorrell and professor of psychology and
author, Dan Ariely.

Israel Maimon, chairman of the Israeli Presidential Conference Steering Committee said that this year, the Conference has welcomed among others, artists of the highest caliber who are advancing social agendas: “The Israeli Presidential Conference is the most diverse conference in terms of its worlds of content.
